Biography/History Built in 1909 after the destruction of the original barn on the site, the two story Carlott Funseth Barn near Kempton (N.D.) is a significant example of round barn construction. It is one of the few such barns that enjoy present use and continuous maintenance. The structure was entered into the National Register of Historic Places 1986-08-21 as part of a Round Barn Thematic Nomination.
