"Also of the St. Paul Jobber's Union on their trip & inspection of the Hughes & Hersey farm near Arvilla. From the right hand side the women are Alice M. Hughes, Mrs. F.D. Hughes & Mrs. D.H. Hersey. By invitation the ladies accompanied the delegation to Devils Lake returning the 7th. They stopped long enough at Arvilla to give three cheers for Hughes & Hersey other ladies who had so delightfully entertained them the day previous"--Handwritten on back of photograph. |
