Biography/HistoryHans Aaker was born in Iowa in 1862. He attended Luther College in Decorah, Iowa and Valparaiso University in Indiana. Aaker came to Concordia in 1891 to lead the commercial department. Aaker was president of the college from 1893 to 1902.
Rasmus Bogstad was born in Norway in 1861 and immigrated to the United States in 1880. He attended Luther College in Decorah, Iowa and Northfield Seminary. He was ordained in 1890. Bogstad came to Concordia in 1891 and became the president in 1902 until 1909.
