| Biography/History | Ingegrikt Fretheim Grose was born on May 25, 1862. He attended St. Olaf College and was a member of the school's faculty from 1886 to 1891. Grose came to Concordia College in 1891 and served as the school's first president. In 1885, Grose graduated from Luther College. He earned his master's degree from the same institution in 1900 after which he returned to St. Olaf to teach until his death in 1939. |
