| Description | Elevated view looking north from the top of post office building, of which the rooftop and chimney are visible in the foreground of the image. View looks up Roberts Street. The building on the right is the Fargo Opera House. Posted on the building is a poster for Mahara's Minstrel's who appeared at the Opera House on May 21, 1898. Just to the north are the ruins of the Columbia Hotel which burned in the 1893 Fargo fire. The Roberts Street Methodist Episcopal Church and First Norwegian Lutheran Church. Other buildings visible are Fargo Lime & Fuel Co., Great Northern Railroad Depot, and Lincoln School. |
