There is a barber pole visible at the intersection, several pedestrians, an automobile and a street railroad car. The Northern Pacific Park is visible at right.

Transcription"Fargo, N.D. July 18 1911. Dear Friend. Thanks for card was glad to hear from you again. Came out here yesterday. I run out here one day and back the next on Northern Pacific. This is a nice town, with Moorhead just across the river. It is kind of chilly to-day. Are you pretty busy in the store now days?
