| Transcription | "The Minnie H was constructed by Captain Heerman on the shores of Devils Lake in 1882-83 at a cost of $33, 000.00. The boat was 110 feet in length and about 20 feet across. It drew three and on-half feet of water. It could carry 500 persons and a hundred ton cargo. She was completed and launched in the spring of 1883, and made its first official trip on the Fourth of July to meet the first train into Devils Lake. The boat was dry-docked in 1909" - Label with other print. |
