Biography/History"The Hancock Brothers also designed the Elliott Hotel Annex at 606-612 First Avenue N., across the street from the Stone Block. This 1899 building was also designed in Classical Revival style and, like the Stone Block, was originally cream brick with red sandstone trim. It was built as an annex for the Elliott Hotel around the corner facing 64-74 Broadway. The original owners of the annex were Isaac P. Clapp and Peter Elliott." - Fargo's Heritage, by Norene A. Roberts. 1983, p. 57.
