Biography/HistoryCol. R. H. Hankinson built a Queen Anne style house on the shores of Lake Elsie in 1884. After the death of R. H. Hankinson, the land and home was sold to Max Wipperman, Sr. in 1929, and at the time the photograph was taken, the home was owned by Max Wipperman, Jr.
