| Transcription | "The chair covers for the Governor's Residence dining room in North Dakota were designed by various artists and hand done by several stitchers across North Dakota that met certain criteria for accuracy, neatness, and of high quality stitches. On June 7th, 1978 there was a special presentation held at NDSU Memorial Union whereby the Art Links' were presented the chair covers (see pictures attached). The covers were taken back to the Governor's Residence and placed on the dining room chairs. Each cover was designed to represent a part of North Dakota and its heritage" - Typed note accompanying series of color photographs. |
