| Biography/History | Herbert Fuller Chaffee, was owner and manager of the Amenia Sharon Land Co. He and his wife Carrie Toogood Chaffee were passengers on the Titanic when it struck an iceberg and sank in 1912. Mr. Chaffee died in the sinking, but Mrs. Chaffee was saved. |
