| Biography/History | "The Ivers Apartments and Funeral Home, at 320-24 Roberts, was designed by William F. Kurke in 1929. It, too, is Art Moderne with zig-zag decorative features at the front entry and surrounding brickwork. The funeral lobby includes an original tapestry designed for the rear wall. All apartments and woodwork are original in the building. The chapel has delicate stained galss and original chairs and walls. Only the frescoed ceiling has been painted over." From Fargo's Heritage, by Norene A. Roberts. 1983. |
