| Biography/History | "The Black building across the street at 114-18 Broadway, is not only Fargo's tallest downtown building in the historic district, but is an outstanding example of the Art Moderne style. It was built by the Minneapolis firm of Lang, Raugland, and Lewis with Braseth and Houkom of Fargo as associate architects. The Art Moderne interior lobby and elevator doors are worth seeing." - Fargo's Heritage, by Norene A. Roberts. 1983, p. 57. |
