View taken from on Broadway south of the Northern Pacific Railway tracks showing plant, its four smoke stacks, automobiles parked on curb on Broadway and businesses on west side of block between tracks and N.P. Ave. Business signs visible include Le Chateau Cafe, F.W. Woolworth, Emporium, Luger furniture, Herbst department store and Alex Stern & Co. clothing. On side of building by tracks are signed for Fargo Jewelry Mfg. Co. and Alex Stern & Co.'s Hart Schaffner & Marx Clothes. Also visible are railroad crossing arms and street paving.
