Biography/HistoryMarjorie Nelson was born in 1914 to Lawrence and Grace (Jacobsen) Nelson near Almont, N.D. Her mother had homesteaded in the area, near her parents Jens and Mary Nelson, Danish immigrants. She married Sig Peterson in 1937. They lived and farmed near Almont, N.D.
