| Biography/History | Hannah Hylden was born near Park River in 1885 to Norwegian immigrants. She homesteaded in McKenzie County, Arnegard Township in 1906 and proved up her land in 1912. She married Christ P. Anderson in 1915 and they resided on his homestead a mile away and raised two children. Christ was born ca. 1877 in Denmark and came to America in 1901. The family moved to California in 1944 where Christ died in 1954. Hannah returned to North Dakota in 1971 and died in Bismarck in 1978. |
