Biography/History
The
Milnor
Fire
Department
was
first
organized
in
December
of
1895.
In
1939
the
fire
department
was
reorganized
into the
Milnor
Rural
Fire
Department.
1975
marked
the
formation
of the
Milnor
Fire
Protection
District
which
used
a
tax
levy
to
support
the
department
instead
of
relying
on
donations.
The
following
year
a
new
fire
hall
was
constructed.
The
Milnor
Fire
Department
is
the
second
oldest
rural
fire
department
in the
state
of
North
Dakota.
