| Biography/History | John W. Dakin was born on December 20, 1856 in Marshall County, Iowa. John married Sarah A. Wood on October 6, 1876. The couple later moved from Iowa to Milnor, North Dakota in the early 1900s. John had a department store in Milnor for a number of years. John died on July 25, 1917. |
