| Transcription | "Obviously these women had sausage making abilities as they are showing off their sausage and their meat smoker. This was in Killdeer, N.D. On a humorous note, my grandfather loved sausage and surely would have made friends with anyone who had the ability to make good sausage. He had a 'blood sausage' guy in Kindred he visited from Fargo and Herman Schatschneider in Vergas who is legendary for his sausage. That is why this picture makes me laugh." - Information provided by Polly Musacchia, granddaughter of photographer. |
