| Biography/History | Alphonse Rheault was born in St. Maurice, Quebec, Canada on Feb. 21, 1859. As a young man, he came to North Dakota. Here he married Clothilda Sauvageau. They first farmed in Richland County, and in the 1890s moved to Section 21, Stanley Township, Cass County, near Wild Rice. They had the following children, Lumina, Amede, Josephine, Anne, Louise, Zoe, Adolph, Eugenie Rosa, Bernadette, Severin, Rose and Ernest. Clothilda died on March 28, 1930, and Alphonse died on October 22, 1942. |
