Transcription"Oct 3rd, 1961. Wire tapping the Reds. At Radio Free Europe headquarters in Munich Germany, Mayor Herschel Lashkowitz of Fargo North Dakota, monitors a communist broadcast. RFE regularly listens to over 50 radio stations and wire services to keep informed on the Kremlin's propaganda line. Lies and distortions are corrected in RFE broadcasts to five iron curtain countries: Poland, Czechoslovakia, Hungary, Romania, and Bulgaria." - Taped to back of photo.
