| Biography/History | Daniel J. Lynch was born in Stillwater, Minnesota on January 20, 1867. He came to North Dakota in 1898 and homesteaded near Flaxon, N.D. in Section 30, Richland Township (T163 R90), Burke County. He married Mary E. Wood on November 24, 1909. She was also born in Stillwater, Minnesota on June 27, 1881. She came to North Dakota in 1902, and also homesteaded in Richland Township in section 5. She also taught school in Flaxton. The couple had three children, Thomas, Elmer and Rita. Daniel died on September 17, 1937, and Mary died on December 6, 1958. |
