| Biography/History | Mathilda Larsen and Karl Froslie were both born in Lunner, Norway. They came to the United States in 1903, and worked in several locations in North Dakota before each taking a homestead in Otis Township, McLean County near Russo, N.D. (Township 150N, Range 80W). Karl homesteaded in sections 6 and 7, and Mathilda in section 9. Mathilda and Karl were married on July 6, 1906 in Minot, N.D. and together they had a son Lars. In 1910 the couple moved to Swift Current, Saskatchewan, Canada. |
