| Description | Front and north side of three-story brick building, taken from center of Broadway and N.P. Ave. Primary business is Alex Stern & Co. Other business include the Big 5, 10 & 15 Store, Fargo Shoe Shop, Leo Zekman Fur Co. and on second floor are signs for Drs. E.C. Wheeler, G.A. Carpenter and T.H. Sherman, and Freeman's Studio. To far left is the Herbst Dept. Store building with a going out of business banner on front. On corner is barber pole and sign for "J. J. Furlong, Turkish & Plain Baths." Also visible are overhead street light, utility pole and lines, post office box, wooden bicycle racks, bicycles, sign for JB Cigars, and several persons on sidewalk. |
