| Biography/History | Florence Hanson was born in 1895 at Luana, Iowa. In 1911 her parents, William and Mary Hanson and family moved to Slope County, N.D. where her father managed the Logging Camp Ranch near Amidon, N.D. In 1916 she homesteaded in Slope County and in 1920 married Art Jacobson. He was born in 1895 at Oakes, N.D. They lived on a nearby ranch most of their lives. Florence died in 1978 and her husband in 1968. |
