Completed questionnaire and additional biographical information in Lindgren's research papers (Mss 292.1.80). Biography/History Lucy Gorecki was born in 1880 in Marquette, Michigan. When two years old she came with her parents to Walsh County, N.D. where they homesteaded. Circa 1905 she homesteaded in Burke County near Coteau, N.D. After proving up her claim she moved back to Walsh County and there married William Blasky and farmed near Conway. She died in 1969.
