| Biography/History | Eleanor Green was born in Vermont in 1875; when eight years old the family moved to Lyons County, Minnesota. After teaching for several years she homesteaded in 1907 in Burg Township, Divide County, N.D. She also taught school in the area. In 1909 she married William Hasselstrom of Larimore, N.D. They lived on her land and raised four children. In 1947 they moved to Crosby, N.D. where she died in 1965. William died in 1955. |
