| Biography/History | Duane E. Lund was born in 1923 at Kenmare, N.D. and lived in a number of towns in North Dakota. He entered the United States Army in 1944 and trained as a pilot. After being discharged in 1945 he lived in Fargo, N.D. and joined the North Dakota Air National Guard. He entered the U.S. Air Force in 1951 and died in the service in 1952. |
