| Transcription | "This view was taken from the Moorhead river bank just below the Northern Pacific bridge. The ground in the foreground is the island that formed in the river in the early 1900's. Both the Moorhead and Fargo steamboat landings were located about here during the days of navigation on the Red River in the 1870's and 1880's.
