Transcription"This view was taken from the Dwight M. Baldwin flour mill, which was located at the Moorhead end of the old south bridge. The mill was erected in 1874 by Henry A. Bruns and his associates. It was destroyed by fire on March 2, 1914, and was not rebuilt. The view is toward the southwest and shows the so called Woodland park section of Moorhead. The building in the foreground is the Dudrey Cooper shop. The wooden bridge crossed the Coulee. The smokestack in the distance was that of the Overboe flour mill which was located at about what is now the corner of Elm street and Ninth Avenue south in Moorhead." - Identification by James Fay, 1954, and typed on identification sheet.
