| Biography/History | Taken during event "Climb the Tower Contest", in which Homer George climbed the new 1, 206 foot, WDAY transmission tower, near Amenia, N.D in 1 hour, 5 minutes and 9 seconds. The event took place on March 1, 1951, and was a celebration of the new towers completion. |
