| Biography/History | "Turn east on First Avenue N. The building on the corner at 621-23 First Avenue N. is the 1910 Pioneer Life Insurance building. Its four stories are dark yellow brick, with a butter joint, decorated with stone trim. Square corner towers form a parapet above the cornice. The date block announces '1910, ' and is typical of many Fargo buildings in the downtown area." - Fargo's Heritage, by Norene A. Roberts. 1983, p. 56. |
