| Biography/History | Peter Bruce Stewart, born in Scotland in 1849, emigrated from Canada to Cass County, N.D. where he homesteaded circa 1876. In 1879 he returned with his bride Annie Campbell, born in Scotland in 1856. They built a brick house in 1884 on their farmstead. He retired from farming in 1910 and moved to Fargo where he died in 1927 and she in 1940. |
