Transcription"Mar. 23, 1911. Dear Mrs. Cog: I am now here in Grand Forks and will send you a few views from the place. The Red River (of the North) flows between N.Dakota and Minnesota, and East Gr. F. is in the latter state. A very large proportion of the town consists of saloons for N. Dakota is a 'dry' state, so that the border towns have the privilege and good fortune to supply many of the thirsty people in this state also." - handwritten on back of postcard.
