| Biography/History | Fire damaged the building housing Joe's Tavern, owned by James Suppa; Joe's Vegetable Market, operated by Joseph Moritz; and Roy's Cafe, operated by Roy Martins. The Harold G. Koenen family was living in the apartment on the buildings second level and was able to escape the flames. The fire broke out at 1:30 a.m., Sunday, September 30, 1956. |
