| Transcription | "Lowman Farm at Wheatland. Owned and managed by Miss Ethel Lowman of Fargo. M. Nilles & Sons are operating on a livestock contract. Milking Shorthorn cattle, pure bred Duoc Hogs and grain crops are used to build up this farm. Note the wonderful protection from wind and snow afforded by the splendid trees, also note the unusually well built and well kept buildings" - From Northwest Farm Managers Joy Drive itinerary, July 14, 1929 (Mss 122.6.6). |
