TranscriptionPostcard postmarked from Souris, N. Dak. Sept. 27, 1911. Addressed to a Carl Nystrom in Richville, Minn. "Sept. 24, 11. This is how the storm looked passed over Antler and came so near Souris, wrecked a barn and killed one man 1 1/2 miles from where I am working. Am doing quite well have 2 weeks work left at this place then will plow for Thorbun. Anton."

Bibliographic Reference"Six cyclones swept through Bottineau County last night. Conflicting reports concerning fatalities. One report says that there are seven dead - largest damage was done near Antler and Westhope. Many badly hurt at picnic grounds." Fargo Forum & Daily Republican, 21 August 1911
