| Biography/History | Ada Asch was born in 1884 in Iowa and raised by other family when her parents died when she was young. She came to Emmons County, N.D. in 1901-1902 from Del Rapids, S.D. and homesteaded near Hague. She proved up her land in 1908. She married William Rush in 1905 and they continued to live in Emmons County where they farmed. In 1920 the lived in DeLamere, N.D. where he operated a hardware store. They later moved to Moorhead, Minn. where William died in 1931. |
