| Biography/History | Betsey Aslakson was born in 1873 at Starbuck, Minnesota to Norwegian immigrant parents. She was a widow with three children when she homesteaded near Tioga, N.D. in 1909. After proving up her land in 1910 she and her family moved back to Minnesota where she died in 1955. |
