| Transcription | Hettinger, N.D., June 4--This Hettinger cowboy band is believed to be the only one of its kind in the northwest that is dressed in western regalia. On July 18, 19 and 20 the band will lead the parade at the state Legion convention at Valley City. On June 11-18 the band will be one of the attractions at the western North Dakota Music clinic, to be held at Hettinger, and again on July 4 it will help in the celebration of Independence day at Hettinger. The band is instructed by Joe Birkeland, music teacher in the Hettinger schools. - Newspaper cut line pasted on back of postcard. |
