TranscriptionPostmarked at Wolford, N.D., Aug. 14, 1913, addressed to Miss Benita Larson, Lanesboro, Minn. Text reads: "Dear Friend: Rec'd your card many thanks. Dear me it is warm here just as bad as Minn. if not a little bit worse that I would melt away to-day. Am feeling pretty good, It is some time now since I heard from Rushford, but last I heard they were all well. This is the only store Wolford had and it burnt to the ground before I got home. Geneva."
