Transcription"The Flag-draped casket of Edward J. Goff, Jr. rested in Holy Cross Cemetery as graveside services were conducted here Wednesday morning. To the right are members of the immediate family. Left to right, they are John Segerholm, brother of Mrs. Goff standing next to Mrs. John Segerholm, mother of Mrs. Goff; Goff's sister, Jean, his father and Mother, Mr. and Mrs. Edward J. Goff, and John B. Segerholm, father of Mrs. Goff. The four pallbearers shown are left to right, John Anderson, Jack Kemmer, John Korsmo and Robert Olerud. Biography/HistoryEdward J. Goff drowned when he attempted to rescue a swimmer, Floyd Huckeby, who was swept over the north dam on the Red River, July 26, 1953. Mr. Goff was a 35 year old father of three from Fargo. Huckeby was a 29 year old farm laborer, from Edgeley, N.D.
