Transcription"Oct. 28/10 It is now two oclock. I am in Sterling having my furniture loaded. It came from Bismarck yesterday. Sadie fell from the wagon this A.M. and sprained her ankle. I'm afraid it will be some time before she can walk. It hurt her terribly. Exspect my company on No 7 about 3 oclock. As ever LM" - handwritten on back of postcard, postmarked from Sterling, N.Dak.
