Biography/HistoryHouse built in 1898. Owner in 1900 Census was DeWitt C. Tufts. Mr. Tufts served in the North Dakota State House of Representatives from 1891-1894, and the North Dakota State Senate from 1895-1898. He was appointed by Pres. William McKinley as receiver for the U.S. Land Office in Fargo in January 1898.
