| Biography/History | The Viking Lutheran Church congregation was established in 1887 in Benson County, N.D. near the Wells County line. The organizers were early Norwegian settlers who had come from Spring Grove, Minn. and Hickson, N.D. The cornerstone of the church was laid in 1903 and it was completed in 1909. The church still stands today. |
