Transcription"Dear Cousin. Rec'd your most welcome card today. I did not know who wrote last you or I. We are busy in the hay field. Our crops are the best they have been for a long time. We also had a lot of rain in June. 27 of June it rained 2 1/2 hours every thing was flooded, washed out 42 culverts and bridges between Linton and McKenzie. Trains dident rive for 2 weeks. Had no mail in that time either. Ans soon Helen. It has been 98 in the shade here." - Handwritten on back of postcard, postmarked from Temvik, N.Dak. Jul 20, 1914. Addressed to Mr. Harry Sahr, Bricelyn, Minn.
