| Transcription | Postmarked at Mayville, N.D., Oct. 22, 1907, addressed to Lelia Smith, Casselton, N.D. Text reads: "Dear Lilia: Why don't you write I want to hear from you real badly. How is your school coming on? I hear it has been reduced to 2nd grade & I hear ours may be soon. [on front of postard:] I am going to a party tomorrow will tell you about it when I write. George S. said he saw you Sat. night at the show & that you had been to Fargo. Hillsboro played here Sat. & we had a great time & great big fight too. The The H.H.S. picked up there things & left the field. It was fierce for a while. All connection with the schools has been cut off. Lilian." |
