Started cook car yesterday so hope to have a little time of my own soon. Have written no one but Hattie since I got home [illegible] threshing, begun yesterday am sewing or trying to to get the girls ready for school. School begins in about two weeks. Have quite a bunch of sewing to do. Hope to be able to write you a letter soon. Hattie writes she and John are going down to St. Paul to State Fair. Suppose Kate stopped with you as agreed. Have you heard from her since she got to Bowman? Got a letter from Rhoda but have not answered yet. How is uncle and yourself since you got rid of us. Hope to be able to write a letter soon. With love from Sarah." - Handwritten on back of postcard, postmarked from Buffalo, N. Dak. Aug. 21, 1908. Addressed to Mrs. S. A. Turner, Black River Falls, Wis. |
