| Description | Crowd of people assembled around the corner of the Y.M.C.A. building under construction. There is a group of people seated on a platform. One of them is Sen. L. B. Hanna, who laid the cornerstone. The view is looking east down 1st Avenue N. The building to the left has the words "Park Grant Morris Whole Sale Grocers" painted above the third floor windows. There are two billboards visible, one for El Kahir Cigars, and the other for J-B Cigars. Painted on the side of a building is a sign for The Perry Tyner Co. Further down the street is visible the Walker Bros. & Hardy building, and the Masonic Temple. |
