Transcription"Office of D. J. Carroll, Packing & Boxes, 90 Walker St., New York" - Prinetd at top of document. "Dear Sir: I have made two sample cases ___: Small size 15 - 15 - 9 1/2 inside meas. Large size 30 - 15 -9 1/2 inside meas. The weight of the small one, 1/3 full of sawdust is 18 lbs and the large one is 19 lbs. The lumber at this season of the year is rather wet and heavy, so I think the average weight would be 17 and 28 lbs including sawdust used in packing. Yours Respy, D. J. Carroll John. To Mr de L.
